The GroAssist app serves as a tool to support treatment adherence for daily or once-weekly growth hormone therapy. Its key features include:
- Recording the application of injections and monitoring the course of treatment
- Recording of injection sites, which helps prevent repeated injection into the same site multiple times in a row
- Ability to create a summary of data from the application
- Possibility to set a reminder for doctor's visits and to pick up a new package of medicine
- Reminder for missed injection applications
- Growth monitoring - development of height and weight gain. 2 types of growth charts - one adapted to children and the other according to international standards for growth (WHO/CDC)
- An award system with scratch-off fields in 3 predefined categories (inspirational, motivational and interesting) - The possibility to turn off/on some of the functions in the application to better adapt to the needs of users and their age. Please note: to access the application, patients need to obtain an activation code from their attending physician.
