In field surveys, portable devices are used for calculating prevalence estimates. But it also includes false positive people and misses on false negatives. Actual prevalence should include all the true positives and false negatives reported by these portable devices. So, with this app we can find out the actual prevalence by using accuracy data of field devices and their reported prevalence. The concept has been explained further at the link given below. This app will hold good for any disease burden estimate corrections that are obtained by using point of care testing devices.
