Surf Radar is for surfers that want to maximise their time in the water by subscribing to offshore buoys and local webcams to get notified when it’s worth checking the surf.

Throughout the day our machine learning model will detect if any surfers have paddled out and notify your phone.

We’ve also logged each check historically so you can get an idea of the crowd and the conditions before you go.

Features include buoy and camera notifications, best tide, wind and wave insights learnt from years of data collection, 10 day forecast charts from ECMWF and map or timeline for spot discovery.

Surf Radar was born in the north sea where nearshore forecasting would often let you down by incorrectly flagging poor conditions due to non existent wind or flat conditions while the coast was currently pumping. The same concept can be used throughout Europe notifying you of early and late arriving swells before the crowd catches on. After extended use you can start to identify correlations with camera-less spots so you can score even better waves.
