The FitKid® Spain Organization is an organization that was born after the rise and popularity of the FitKid® championships, organized and celebrated by the founder of this organization, Alícia López Manchón.
This entity is dedicated to the organization, preparation and celebration of various championships and events, under the name Fitkid®, in which FitKid® and various disciplines such as acrobatic dance, show dance, urban dance, among others, are promoted.
In 1994, the first Fitkid® competition in the world, the Fitkid® Championship of Spain, was held at the Barcelona Conference Centre. Later, in 1996, Fitkid® was exported to our colleagues in Hungary and since then, Fitkid® competitions have been held in Hungary.
And, in 2003, the Fitkid® Organization linked up with the newly created International Amateur Dance Federation ("IDF"). As a result of this link, the disciplines recognized by the IDF were adopted, including them in the Fitkid® championships.
