This app is a limited release Alpha. Alpha testing is designed to uncover bugs and fix them prior to a larger beta release. Alpha testers must sign an NDA and agree to test to to a specified test plan and provide detailed feedback so that bugs can be identified, reproduced and remedied.

The Alpha release of the Plum app is not feature complete and will have bugs. App crashes may occur which may or may not require restarting your Android device.

The Plum Lightpad is a WiFi connected smart light dimmer that replaces your dumb light switch to allow whole home lighting control for convenience, security, energy savings and added luxury. You can easily control your lights from your smart phone whether you are home or away. Or, use Amazon's Alexa voice control to quickly control single lights or groups of lights.

The Plum Lightpad is straightforward to install using your home's existing wiring. It fits into any standard North American electrical box. Each Lightpad connects directly to your WiFi router without the need for a separate bridge, gateway or hub.

The Plum Lightpad features a multi-touch surface. You simply tap to turn on or off, double tap to go to full brightness, or slide your finger up or down to raise or lower the light intensity. But if you use two fingers, you can control groups of lights at the same time. By using three fingers, you can even turn all the lights in the house off from any Lightpad.

The Plum lightpad has a presence detection and it recognized you when you walk up. A multi-color LED glow ring surrounds the touchpad and gently illuminates in your choice of colors as you approach it. It makes a great night light and it's one of the luxury features that people like best.

The Lightpad also has built in energy metering. It can show you how many watts you are using and help you make decisions about controlling your energy usage.
