⚫ Those who have applied for a housing unit under the centre’s Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY), can check the PMAY status on the PMAYUCLAP website, using various identity proofs. If you have applied for the PMAY scheme and do not know where to check your application’s status, this article will guide you in finding the answer.

⚫ How to check PMAY subsidy status in 2023?
Even though there are various methods to check your PMAY status online and offline, mentioned below are the details that you will need, to track your PMAY application status.

✔ PMAY subsidy status check by Aadhaar number
✔ PMAY status check using PMAY application ID
✔ PMAY status check using registered mobile number
✔ Driving licence
✔ Passport number

⚫ PMAY status check with Aadhaar
Your Aadhaar number is a 12-digit number issued by the UIDAI. To check PMAY status with Aadhaar, go to the official site and click on the ‘Search Beneficiary’ option from the main menu.

⚫ PMAY subsidy status check with name, father’s name and mobile number
To track your PMAY application status, select the ‘By name, father’s name and ID type’ option.

⚫ Following this, you will have to provide details like your state, city, district, father’s name, ID type (Aadhaar or driving licence, passport, etc.). You will now have to enter the details of the ID type you have selected along with your registered mobile number.

⚫ PMAY subsidy processing stages
There are five stages through which the PMAY subsidy application has to pass, before it reaches your home loan account. These stages include:

✔ Application ID generated.
✔ Due diligence by PLI.
✔ Claim uploaded the on Central Nodal Agency Portal.
✔ Subsidy claim approval.
✔ Subsidy released to PLI.
✔ Once a stage is cleared, the colour of the icon on the screen turns to green. If the colour is blue, it means that this phase/stage is still under processing.

⚫ PMAY components
If you have applied for any of the four schemes under the PMAY, you can do PMAY subsidy status check by following some simple steps.

✔ In-situ Slum Redevelopment (ISSR)
✔ Credit-Linked Subsidy Scheme (CLSS),
✔ PMAY Affordable Housing in Partnership (AHP) scheme
✔ Beneficiary-Led individual house Construction/enhancements (BLC) scheme

⚫ The CLAP system generates an application ID for each borrower, only after their successful verification with the UIDAI and de-duplication with beneficiaries of other three verticals from the PMAY (U) MIS system. The beneficiary ID is a unique identify for the CLSS beneficiary of PMAY-U who has availed of the subsidy amount into their home loan account.

⚫ Is there any unique ID to identify CLSS beneficiaries in CLAP software?
Yes, the beneficiary ID acts as the unique ID to identify CLSS beneficiaries, who have received the CLSS interest subsidy in their home loan account.

⚫ Does the CLAP software send SMS to PMAY applicants?
Yes, the CLAP will send the application status to both, the borrower and co-borrower, on their mobile number registered in the CLAP portal.

⚫ What are the stages at which CLAP software will send SMS to the borrower or co-borrower?
The CLAP system will send an SMS at the below-mentioned stages:

✔ After generation of the Application ID.
✔ After PLI lodging the claim on CNA portal.
✔ After generation of the Beneficiary ID.
v For uploading photo, selfie and video of success story,
✔ from CLSS beneficiaries.
✔ After subsidy refund by PLI to CNA, if any.
✔ At the time of generation of OTP.
