The clownfish lives in tropical lagoons and coastal reefs between 1 and 15 meters deep.
It is well known for its colors and its original way of life: living in symbiosis with sea anemones providing them with protection. When a clownfish chooses an anemone, it's for life: a couple settle there and give birth to a new generation. Clownfish are covered with mucus that protects against stinging cells of anemones.
