PortalChat is a social communication platform that transforms traditional chat into a dynamic, game-like universe. Built with Flutter and Supabase, it centers around stations, which are customizable virtual spaces for users to gather and socialize. The platform emphasizes spatial social interaction, privilege-based progression, and a virtual economy.

Key Features
Station-Based Architecture: The core of PortalChat is its station system. Users can create, join, and explore different stations, which function as themed community hubs. These spaces have customizable themes, capacity limits (around 60 users), and moderation tools. Station owners can manage access and create specialized communities, ranging from public spaces to exclusive VIP areas.

Privilege Tier Progression: PortalChat features a 20-tier system called the Portal Council. As users advance through tiers from 0 to 20, they unlock new privileges. Lower tiers (0-4) provide basic features like portal access and friend requests. Mid-tiers (5-10) offer enhanced social features like council chat and animated stickers, while higher tiers (11-15) grant advanced capabilities such as gift sending and exclusive pets. The highest tiers (16-20) unlock elite privileges like glowing usernames and VIP station access.

Virtual Economy (Quantum Bits): The platform's economy is driven by Quantum Bits (Q.B), the primary currency. Users can purchase Q.B with real money (₹25 = 1 Q.B) through the Quantum Bazaar, or earn them through daily rewards and gifts. Q.B is used to create group chats, rent costumes, adopt pets, and access various premium features.
Avatar Customization: PortalChat provides extensive avatar personalization. The costume system uses two currencies: Q.B and Costume Tokens (earned through gameplay). Users can rent costumes with either currency, and the system handles automatic expiration.

Pet Adoption: Users can adopt virtual companions called "Fur Buddies" using Q.B or tokens. These pets serve as digital companions, enhancing the user's profile and social presence.

Multi-Layered Communication: Communication is supported through station-wide chats, private messages, and group chats, which have privilege requirements. The platform includes advanced features like message pinning, emoji reactions, and polls.
Moderation & Safety: To maintain a safe environment, PortalChat provides robust moderation tools, including blacklisting, temporary kicks.

Monetization Strategy: Revenue is generated through the Quantum Bazaar, where users purchase Q.B. Other premium features like costume rentals, pet adoptions, and group chat creation also contribute to the revenue. The platform also offers daily ad-watching rewards, which allows users to earn free Q.B and tokens while generating advertising revenue.
