Poupawatt is an AI-powered “virtual energy manager” that helps Portuguese consumers reduce their energy bills.

Relying on data from smart meters, collected from E-REDES – the National Distribution Systems Operator – with explicit user consent, Poupawatt applies AI & ML modules to enable its users to understand which devices they are using. spend energy and receive targeted and quantified energy efficiency recommendations that will help them become more energy efficient.

The main features provided by Poupawatt are
- Distribution of energy consumed by household appliances;
- Recommendations on the most appropriate energy tariff and contracted power levels;
- Targeted and quantified energy efficiency recommendations;
- Full integration with DECO PROTeste know-how and calculators.

Poupawatt is developed by Watt-IS and, through a partnership agreement, is being made available to DECO PROTeste subscribers.
