who are we
More than 80,000 members in over 800 clubs make up the Westphalian Rifle Association, founded in 1861, whose borders correspond to the historical region of Westphalia - from Bocholt in the west to Oppenwehe in the north, from Lippe down to Siegen. Seven districts and 34 districts represent the core tasks of our association: sport, tradition, customs, environment, youth and education.

What we do
Youth work is very important at the WSB. President Dr. Maik Hollmann sees youth “as the future of the association, in all areas”. Both the sport and the tradition depend on how young people can be integrated. Here we prepare for the future through targeted sports and extensive educational offerings.

The executive board and the office of the Westphalian Rifle Association also deal intensively with lobbying, educational offerings, public relations and internal communication and also create an extensive range of innovative additional services.
