Tired of wasting time counting coins?, With Coin Counter Camera just use your phone camera and it will do it for you.

This app uses the OpenCV library needed for detection operations, then you will be prompted to download it at the right time.

This app has two parts, firstly a coin calculator to put the tickets you have in the cash register and calculate the total revenue.

On the other side there the app can use the camera to count the coins you have spreader in a clear surface.

Put the same kind of coins on a surface with a good contrast, for example a paper sheet, and hold the detection button until all coins are marked with a circle.

Sometimes you will need to turn on the camera flash for a better detection, and varying the distance from the camera to the coins may also improve the detection. With a couple of tests you will get the proper way to handle the application.

By now the app only detects EUR (Euro), USD (American Dollar), AUD (Australian Dollar), GDB (British Pounds) and ARS (Pesos Argentinos). If you are interested in adding other currencies, just send an email to support@pristálica.com with Coin Counter subject.

Warnings:
- This application does not tell you the value of coins, it just counts how many there are (very helpful when you have to have a lot of cash and coins in the cash register separators).
- The detection is a hard process and some certain low-end phones may not be able to run this app.
- The resolution, flash lighting and distance of the camera may affect the coin detection.
- The app currencies are EUR (Euro), USD (American Dollar), AUD (Australian Dollar), GDB (British Pounds), ARS (Pesos Argentinos), CAD (Canadian Dollar), RUB (Russian Ruble), UAH (Ukrainian Hryvnia) and INR (Indian Rupee).

Advice:
- Always use a white paper sheet or a white surface for the coins, a good contrast will mean a better detection.
- If you have many coins you can make groups and go slowly adding them (eg groups 50..80).
- If you do not detect all the currencies of the image while you hold the detection button to activate detection test flash, move the camera until you get it done.
