Sikkim University Connect (SU-Connect) is a Android Application developed by Pritam Shah and Robin Gurung of Department of Computer Applications Donated to Sikkim University for Free.

Sikkim University , a Central University established by an Act of Parliament of India, 2007. Currently it does not have a campus of its own so the Departments are scattered in and around town Gangtok. The major problem is that there is lack of communication between the students students and students-teachers and teachers-teachers of different and same departments. There is no timeliness of data as the departments are scattered so it takes time for arrival of information. Though, Sikkim University is a central university and its nearly 10 years old many people don’t know that there is a Central University in Sikkim. Nowadays most universities have their own app and as there is so many students in SU the official website is full of traffics. SU-Connect is an Android application that will act as a bridge for students to communicate with teachers and students of same or other Departments. There is no campus for SU so this Android application may provide a virtual campus to the students of SU. A common unified communication platform will be established. So, we are trying to reduce lack of data communication by developing an Android app that is SIKKIM UNIVERSITY ANDROID APPLICATION (SU-Connect).
