Abel Marine has been running for 5 years now. We have a team of 4 workers that have been with us from the beginning. All the work gets done by us so there’s no contracting out work, you talk to the people that do the job.

Brent, the owner, was brought up around boats from water sport’s to fishing for both business and pleasure. We have been working on boats for seven years prior to starting the business and we live aboard our own boat on a swing mooring.

Our main practices are antifouling and scraping, painting (rolled and tipped off), polishing, cleaning, fairing, fibre-glassing, varnishing, applying non skid, the treatment of osmosis and sometimes we may do some wooden repairs.
