Regarding its potential effectiveness in bilingual media education, this medium will also have a significant impact, given the particular demographic and ethnic characteristics of its region. The proximity to the local population will allow the station to understand their aspirations, apply their knowledge, and work together to find possible solutions to communication conflicts. Furthermore, by utilizing new technologies that will not only provide speed but also allow for direct participation, this proposal will allow the radio station to incorporate elements of each of these new technologies.
Thus, radio listeners will have access to programs broadcast in their own language, offering information, education, and entertainment designed to meet the diverse needs and tastes of the region, reaching children, youth, and adults alike. TELEVISION
Despite the years that have passed and the technological advancements presented to Imbabura society, television, above all else, has managed to maintain its credibility and position itself as one of the greatest promoters of culture in our community.
Since digital television journalism is a profession that, in one way or another, represents a significant influence and a means of guidance for the population and the world, it is necessary to adhere to certain guidelines to maintain its seriousness and formality. This will prevent the excessive exaggeration of words and events, which would lead to crude television sensationalism. Finally, we can affirm that with the operation of the radio and television channels, both OMCEradio and OMCETV, it can be reaffirmed that radio and television, unlike other media in small regions, will be closer to the people, promoting culture, guiding thought, and providing information quickly and truthfully. For this reason, we must always be attentive to the needs and expectations of the audience, striving to satisfy them in a timely, creative, and effective manner, supported by the law and a dynamic technological infrastructure with a trained staff always willing to give their best for this purpose.
