"MAPP - Digital Parks" is the app that innovates the way of experiencing Alpine natural parks. Developed as part of the NODES – Digital and Sustainable North West project, MAPP (Phygital and Participatory Alpine Museums) offers an immersive digital experience designed for tourists, hikers and nature lovers.
Thanks to an innovative approach that combines physical, digital and active participation, the app promotes more aware, responsible and engaging tourism.
Explore the trails
Consult the interactive map to discover the routes and points of interest. Get directions to reach them and save your favorite itineraries.
Participate and tell
During your excursion, by approaching the "Passage Counters" devices installed along the routes, you can take a photo and publish it on the app, contributing to the collective narration of the park.
Contribute to monitoring the territory
The passage counters record the flow of visitors and, thanks to interaction with the app, help the park authorities to collect data useful for the sustainable management of the trails.
Report critical issues
Have you noticed an obstacle or a problem along the trail? You can report it directly through the app, attaching photos and a description, to support the maintenance and safety of the territory.
Discover and learn
Deepen your knowledge of the natural and cultural heritage with geolocalized educational content. MAPP promotes the protection of biodiversity and raises awareness of respect for the mountain environment.
Share and connect
View the content published by other users on the social wall inside the app. Become part of a community of aware visitors, connected by the desire to experience the mountains in a new way.
