"Montella Digital Radio" was born as a careful reinterpretation and revitalization of the music of the last and dark 70s, of the unforgettable 80s, of the soundtracks of the most viewed films in the world (Sergio Leone and Morricone would approve). All of this was actually accomplished forty years after the phenomenon, with its unquestionable success, of FM broadcasts marked the birth and broadcast of the many so-called "free" radios (1970s). The idea has as its cardinal points the evaluated and excellent choice of songs from the most diverse musical genres, including Funky, Disco Music, Pop, Rock, Punk. Furthermore, ample space was given to the fervent Italian music of those years. The technological revolution that distinguishes the new millennium has a positive impact on the promotion and diffusion of this little idea of ours, considering that the Internet conveys information efficiently and has extraordinarily unlimited borders. We turn mainly (but not only) to those who lived the 70s with intensity and who, nostalgically, want to relive the legendary golden years on Saturday night at the disco, dancing and having fun. There is no particular presumption in wanting to transfer emotions: we want to address the listeners by presenting our genuine and sometimes cumbersome and obsessive passion that we apply during the search for this type of music. We hope to live up to the arduous task, which consists in escaping for a few minutes from the inconsistent current patterns, to take refuge on the easy chairs of a village bar, in an era that is pleasantly remembered.
