The following short stories are a timeless collection of texts that are part of “the spiritual
human legacy”, as a famous Brazilian author said.
These short stories have been collected during the reading of several writings from a large
variety of origins (from the Zen to the Sufi tradition, both ancient and recent, from Christian
to pagan sources, Indian and Nordic). However, it is impossible to determine the background
of all of them in terms of space and time: they are about the concerns, the vicissitudes and the
Implicit experiences of what is Universal for the human kind.
Each one of them talks about how human beings are searching for something. We often do
not know what we are searching for, but we are indeed searching for something. We search in
a thousand of endless places of infinite shapes with the irrefutable evidence of the existence
of something deeper, something unique, identical and indescribable. I hope this anthology of
short stories become a tiny guide, a small sign in the Way, a nod to the perpetual seeking
that we are all part of.
