The player is given command of archers with green pips on top of their heads that indicate their charge status. Barbarians coming from the forest attempt to overrun the camp, and the player must kill them all before they overrun the camp. A proportion of enemies will be carrying shields, and yet another proportion of them will be carrying larger shields. There will be more shielded enemies with level.

Killing enough enemies with rapid succession will fill the Boomy! meter, which will turn the arrows into explosive arrows with a powerful knockback effect that also ignores shields.
If any barbarians cross the line, the player is defeated.
