Santa Comba is a Spanish municipality located in the province of La Coruña, in the autonomous community of Galicia.

Its municipal capital is Santa Catalina de Armada, today merged with the population center of Santa Comba, located almost in the geographic center of the municipality. Well connected 62 km from La Coruña, 38 km from Santiago de Compostela (both airports) and 68 km from Cape Finisterre.

Santa Comba belonged to a noble nobility and later ecclesiastical until the mid-nineteenth century, it reached its independence. However, it is not until the forties when the current urban core develops around an important market and crossroads.

After the Spanish Civil War the municipality became one of the main mining areas of wolfram that was taken to Germany to make war material during the Second World War.
