Al-Samad The name Al-Samad includes a great deal of majesty to God Almighty, for He, Glory be to Him, is unique and He alone has this name.
The Healer: This attribute indicates that healing is in the hands of God Almighty. He loves healing and has made it one of His permanent attributes. He is the only One who can cure people of every disease with a cure that leaves no disease.
The Protector is that God Almighty is the one who preserves everything, protects the righteous from perils and dangers, and protects them from falling into transgressions and sins.
Al-Wakil The writer emphasizes that God Almighty alone is the one in whom a person should rely, so a Muslim should not pin his hopes and aspirations on anyone other than God Almighty.
Al-Jabbar Some people believe that this name indicates tyranny, but the writer believes that it is taken from the mountain of hearts, as God Almighty heals broken hearts, and removes sadness and pain from His servants by His grace.
The Forgiving God Almighty called Himself the Forgiving because He loves to forgive His servants, and this is what brings reassurance to the soul of the believer, as he knows that God Almighty prioritizes forgiveness over punishment, and that if he repents and asks for His forgiveness, He will save him from punishment.
The guide, God Almighty, is the only one who guides man, and He is the one who takes him by the hand and keeps him away from the pits of evil and misguidance, if he trusts in Him the right way, and turns to God Almighty with a sincere heart.
Shukur, the meaning of this name, inspires hope in the soul of the believer, because it confirms that God Almighty thanks the believer and rewards him for his good deeds, and that God Almighty does not waste an atom’s weight in His sight.
The Near God’s name, “The Near,” brings comfort to the souls of His servants, because it indicates the closeness of God Almighty to them. No matter how much trouble, danger, or sorrow a person experiences, he will know that God is near and will keep all evil away from him.
