After viral infections, a certain number of patients develop post-viral symptoms that last well beyond the acute stage of the disease. These include pronounced fatigue, muscle pain, inflammation or neurocognitive problems. These often disappear after a few weeks. In many patients, however, symptoms can persist for months, become chronic and lead to considerable limitations.

Post-viral symptoms also occur as a long-term consequence of infection with the coronavirus (SARS-CoV-2). Even in mild cases and younger sufferers, persistent post-viral fatigue can develop along with many other symptoms.

With this app, we want to make a contribution for patients to better understand their own symptoms and to be able to communicate them and their progression to the treating physician.

Personal monitoring of nutrition is also important, since sugar, alcohol or histamines, for example, are suspected of aggravating symptoms.

The data is stored exclusively on the phone and remains private.
