Marc-Andre ter Stegen, born on 30 April 1992 in Mönchengladbach, is a German international footballer who plays as a goalkeeper for FC Barcelona.
He started his professional career on April 10, 2011 with Borussia Monchengladbach. Stegen was appointed Barcelona goalkeeper on 19 May 2014 with the signing of a 5-year contract, during his first season he won the Spanish Cup and the Champions League as the undisputed start in both competitions.

In the national team, he started his first match on 26 May 2012. He participated in the 2016 European Nations Cup and the 2018 World Cup as a second goalkeeper. He won the 2017 Confederation Cup as a start.
