THIS APPLICATION IS CURRENTLY IN AN UNUSABLE STATE. It will be taken down from public view shortly. If you're looking for a trip log and have stumbled upon this page, look elsewhere for now.
The Untitled Trip Log Project (UTLP) is a privacy-oriented, OBDII based trip log application for any vehicle produced in the U.S. after 1996. (If you're in other countries, check your vehicles compatibility with the OBDII standard.) UTLP requires an OBDII Bluetooth adapter for complete functionality- this is because, unlike other trip log apps, UTLP reads mileage and Miles Per Gallon (MPG) data directly from the car. This allows for more accurate and complete data than any GPS-based tool, as well as the ability to operate the app without revealing your location.
Features:
- UTLP is a completely offline application. No internet access required, no backups.
- UTLP can connect to an OBDII Bluetooth dongle to grab accurate mileage and MPG data without using location data. Take back your privacy!
- Aside from using OBDII data, UTLP can also manually add trips and fuel information by entering information by hand.
- UTLP can store information about multiple cars and trip data for each.
