To improve labor relations between employers and employees and increase job creation by the private sector, Benin has adopted the Law No. 2017-05 of 29 August 2017 laying down the conditions and procedure hiring, employment placement - to work and termination of employment contracts in the Republic of Benin.
In 64 articles, the law establishes the legal framework for recruitment, contract termination, dismissal and resignation of an employee vis-à-vis his employer.
Now the fixed-term contract (CDD) is renewable indefinitely under the provisions of Article 13.
