Radio Sharda 90.4 FM is a community radio station dedicated to the Kashmiri Pandit community - a religious and ethnic minority of Hindu Brahmins who are native to the Kashmir Valley in the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir, India.

In the late 1980s and early 1990s, due to insurgency and violence in Kashmir, a large number of Kashmiri Pandits were forced to flee their homeland and settle in other parts of India, particularly in Jammu, Delhi, and other urban areas. This displacement led to significant challenges, including the loss of physical connection with their cultural roots, language, rituals, and identity.

To preserve their rich heritage, Radio Sharda was launched in Jammu. It serves as a cultural lifeline and a medium of expression for this community.
