A non-profit civil society organization, it is the first association specialized in the cinema sector in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. It aims to promote cinema culture and disseminate it among all members of society. It was officially registered pursuant to Ministerial Resolution No. 9677 of the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development, dated Muharram 14, 1443 (August 22, 2021).
