Discover the power of seamless tracking with the My Digital Reading Diary app. An app for children to keep a daily record of the number of pages and books that they read. By linking to the school admin panel, this information is then visible by teachers, providing an unprecedented level of detailed, insightful knowledge of individual children’s reading patterns and book choices.

This is not an e-library of books - pupils scan the barcode of a book from home that they have chosen to read or they have been given by their school, and enter how many pages they read each day. They can record whether they have read with an adult.

Parents check their child’s progress each day, or week and verify the reading their child has recorded to maintain the integrity of the information which is then submitted to the school admin panel.

Through the school admin panel, teachers can view the books added by pupils and track their reading progress. Teachers can see how often and the number of pages a child reads each day/week. They will also know if the child has read with an adult and can see a history of the books they have read.

This detailed information can then be sorted by a wide range of criteria, such as EAL, PP, SEND, to assist in the assessment and management of reading in school. It then becomes a simple process to identify children who require reading support, reward children for their reading and hold in-school reading competitions.
