This OFFLINE app reminds you whenever the Advance Reservation ticketing window of IRCTC opens for the holidays you have planned for travel...


Currently, General booking opens 120 days before Date of Journey .. Say if you are traveling on 1st August, you can begin booking from 3rd April onwards!


This app has 3 main features:


i) Displays Exhaustive LIST OF INDIAN HOLIDAYS, which also be viewed can be

- State-wise
- Religion-wise

You can Add whichever holidays is applicable for you in a separate "My Calendar" tab.


ii) Shows HOLIDAY SUGGESTIONS for the holidays you have chosen

Suppose if Thursday is holiday, if you take leave on Friday then you get 4 days long leave (Thursday to Sunday) ...

This app displays all similar scenarios and helps in planning your long leaves....

Based on this suggestion, it automatically determines the user's most preferred Onward and Return journey dates and can set alarm for booking the same...

For the above case, Since night trains are usually preferred, Onward will be on Wednesday night and Return will be on Sunday night.


iii) SOUNDS ALARM and gives a notification when the Advance Reservation Period opens for a chosen holiday.
