Simply apply for the electronic patient file (ePA) of your BKK B.Braun Aesculap. This is provided to you free of charge. By using the electronic patient file, you always have an overview of your health data. The patient file is your personal digital storage location, like a safe, for which only you have the key. You decide which data you want to add and which people you want to authorize access to. This means that you always have your medical documents to hand for treatment appointments and can share them with the practices and facilities if necessary. The tedious management of paper documents is therefore a thing of the past. The patient file makes your life easier and at the same time relieves the actors in the healthcare system!

The development and approval of the electronic patient record is subject to strict legal requirements, such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). As BKK B. Braun Aesculap, the best possible protection of your health data is particularly important to us. To ensure secure access, a one-time personal identification is required.
You have several options for this, which you can select during the registration process:
– POSTIDENT (eID): We recommend identification via your ID card with PIN. If you no longer know the PIN of your identity card, apply for it via the website: https://www.pin-ruecksetzbrief-bestellen.de/
– POSTIDENT (branch): Via our partner "Deutsche Post" you can use one of over 27,000 post branches in your area to have the ePA activated.
– Activation code: We will also identify you personally using your ID card in one of our branches and give you an activation code. To protect your data, the activation code will not be sent electronically or by post, but will only be handed out in the office upon presentation of your ID card.
