The electronic patient file – “ePA” for short – is a free service for all vivida bkk customers. On a voluntary basis, you can use the ePA to securely manage your health data for the rest of your life. Only you have sole data sovereignty and can determine who you want to grant access to your file for how long and to what extent. With this app you can manage your health data directly and save yourself the paperwork when visiting the doctor.


ADVANTAGES

• The EHR is the personal and digital storage location for your health data.
• You can decide which doctors can store and/or view which diagnoses, findings, documents or medication plans in your EHR.
• You avoid duplicate examinations because you can view all health data at a glance.
• You have sovereignty over information: you can authorize who can see and store which data.

• Existing membership in vivida bkk
• Mobile device with Android (compatible from version 9) and NFC (Near Field Communication)
• No device with modified operating system


SAFETY

As a statutory health insurance company, we – vivida bkk – ensure the best possible protection of your health data. To ensure that only you or the persons authorized by you have access to your ePA, you must identify yourself securely once. There are different ways to do this:

• POSTIDENT: You can choose between identification at a post office or with your electronic identity card.
• Activation code: Alternatively, you can also identify yourself personally with your identity card and your eGK in one of our branches and receive an activation code from us.
• Electronic health card (eGK): Use your eGK including the associated PIN, which you have received based on a secure identification that has already been carried out.
