The electronic patient file – “ePA” for short – is a free offer for all vivida bkk customers. On a voluntary basis, you can use the ePA to securely manage your health data for life. Only you have sole data sovereignty and can decide who you want to grant access to your file, how long and to what extent. With this app you can manage your health data directly and save yourself the paperwork during doctor's visits.


ADVANTAGES

• The ePA is the personal and digital storage location of your health data.
• You can decide which doctors can store and/or view which diagnoses, findings, documents or medication plans in your ePA.
• You avoid double examinations because you can view all health data at a glance.
• You have information sovereignty: You can approve who can see and store which data.


FUNCTIONS

• Upload, download and manage medical documents and data
• Have digital documents stored and viewed: e.g. vaccination certificate, maternity certificate, child examination booklet, dental bonus booklet
• Manage access permissions
• Request benefits information from your vivida bkk
• Set up a representative who can access your ePA on your behalf
• Data from your previous ePA will be taken with you if you change your health insurance company
• Track activities in your EHR in the log
• Access your ePA with different devices
• Change the PIN of your electronic health card (eGK).
• Manage notifications
• Manage file account
• Secure identification to protect your data
• Secure login using eGK and eGK PIN or convenient access (al.vi)

• No device with a modified operating system


SECURITY

As a statutory health insurance company, we – vivida bkk – ensure the best possible protection of your health data. To ensure that only you or the people you authorize have access to your ePA, you must securely identify yourself once. There are different approaches available to you:

• POSTIDENT: You can choose between identification at a post office or with your electronic ID card.
• Activation code: Alternatively, you can identify yourself in person with your ID card and your eGK at one of our branches and receive an activation code from us.
• Electronic health card (eGK): Use your eGK including the associated PIN, which you received based on secure identification that you have already made.
