The insured unit period must be 180 days or more in total for 18 months (24 months for ultra-short-time workers) prior to the date of change. Be in a state of being unable to get a job (including in the case of conducting a business for profit) despite having the will and ability to work. Make active efforts to re-employ. The reason for resignation must be involuntary

(If the date of change is before October 1, 2019, 50% of the average wage before retirement × the number of days of prescribed pay)
