It is extremely frustrating, especially when talking over the phone and even more so if the other person has a foreign accent.

Mastering this skill requires practice - your brain must learn to automatically take in quickly spoken numbers and letters without you putting any conscious effort in. As with any other skill, repetition is the key.

This app will teach you to hear and understand numbers, dates, times, prices, phone numbers, and the spelling of words.

We recommend that you start from the "Topics" page and master each topic, from top to bottom. Then, you can keep your skill fresh by using the "Practice All" page. Later, you can also switch on foreign accents in the "Settings" for an added challenge.
