Rucking – The Official Rucking Calculator App
Hey everyone, bear with me — this is my first app on the Play Store.
I never set out to make an app. I just got tired of watching my smartwatch undercount my workouts. I’ve been rucking for years — walking with weight to burn fat, build strength, and fix my posture — and there still isn’t a button that says Start Ruck.
So I built this.
Rucking Pro is the first simple, ad-free calculator app designed specifically for ruckers. It helps you estimate calories burned and plan your weight-loss goals more accurately than any walking or running tracker.
I’m Preston Shamblen, an ISSA and NCCPT-certified personal trainer, nutritionist, and strength coach. I lost 90 pounds through rucking, outdoor fitness, and consistency. Now I’m sharing the same tools that helped me stay motivated.

💪 Why I Built It
Rucking burns 2–3× more calories than walking, but no major fitness platform accounts for the added load.
This app fixes that — so you don’t lose motivation seeing low numbers on your watch.
Future updates will add GPS tracking, distance logging, and Apple Health/Google Fit integration once testing is complete.
