Al Qavsar (Arabic: الكوكر - Abundant) is the one hundred and eighth surah of the Qur'an. Meccan Sura. Consists of 3 verses.
It recalls that Allah endowed the Prophet with great blessings and showed him great mercies in this as well as in his future life. He demanded that he constantly and sincerely offer a prayer only to him and offer him sacrifices, stabbing the very best sacrificial animals in gratitude for the mercy shown to him.
