al-Nasr (Arabic: النصر - Help) - one hundred and tenth Surah of the Quran. Sura Medina. Last sent to the surah at-Tawba. Consists of 3 verses.

In Surah An-Nasr, Muslims indicate the capture of Mecca. The main reason for the capture of Mecca is that the Quraysh violated the truce concluded in al-Khudaybiyi by attacking the Huzaa tribe, who entered into an agreement with the Prophet. The Quraish tribe supported Bani Bakr against Huzai. Then the Prophet considered that in response to the violation by the Quraysh of the vow, he was obliged to take Mecca. He prepared a strong army, which included ten thousand soldiers and went to Mecca in the month of Ramadan for the 8th year of the Hijra (in December 630).

The Prophet and his troops entered Mecca without a fight. So he was able to win the largest victory in the history of Islam, victory without warfare and without bloodshed. The capture of Mecca was of very great religious and political importance.
