Endocrine diseases are a class of diseases caused by a disorder of one or more endocrine glands. They are based on hyperfunction, hypofunction or dysfunction of the endocrine glands.

Among endocrine diseases, pathologies associated with a thyroid disorder (for example, hyperthyroidism), with disorders of the pancreas, such as diabetes mellitus, are more common. The science of endocrinology deals with the study and treatment of endocrine diseases.

Endocrine diseases are related to the work of the endocrine glands, and in recent years their frequency has increased. This also applies to diseases of the thyroid gland, and diabetes mellitus, and other serious disorders.

The endocrine system includes a group of glands and organs that regulate and control various bodily functions by producing and secreting hormones. Hormones are chemicals that affect another part of the body. Hormones serve as "messengers" and regulate and coordinate body functions.

Endocrine disorders include:

- Secretion of too much hormones (the so-called "hyper" -function).
- Secretion of too little hormones (the so-called "hypo" -function).
