“Notify” is another, in a suite of applications for use by building maintenance professionals to assist with their regulatory and compliance tasks. “Notify” is designed to work in conjunction with Drax 360’s AMX alarm management software. AMX alarm management software consolidates alarms from multiple buildings and systems on large sites such as a manufacturing facility, university campus or hospitals. “Notify” simply provides an immediate notification of an alarm or fault occurring at the AMX workstation, enabling estates professionals, fire teams and security staff to quickly identify the location of an event whilst going about their normal daily duties. “Notify” allows the user closest to the event to take ownership of the event by acknowledging the notification. Once the event is acknowledged other users in the group are notified as to who has taken ownership of the event. All actions are time and date stamped along with the user details and stored for audit purposes. The purpose of the application is to allow more efficient use of personal, improved communications and a faster response to critical events. Event types and users can be placed in groups to enable a wide range of personal to use the application.
