Douglas Chadwick originally devised the Saltydog trend investing system for his own use.

That’s why he decided to launch Saltydog Investor, and make his trend investing system available to others. He believes private investors are poorly served by much of the financial services industry. And knows that the Saltydog system works.

The principles of trend investing go back a long, long way – with one of its most famous adherents being Jesse Livermore, trading on the U.S. stock market at the end of the nineteenth century.
