This app, in cooperation with your electric meter, reads the instantaneous power being drawn in your home. Want to see how much power that new HVAC system or appliance is actually drawing? Use app to take a meter reading of your home with appliance off, and then turn on said appliance to take a second reading for comparison.

How to use:

1. Select the kH value listed on the front of your meter.
2. Hold the start button for one meter cycle.

A meter cycle is simply the time it takes for a point of reference to cycle back to itself.

On an analog meter, this could be from the point on the disc marked "0" to spin around once and return back to "0".

On a SmartMeter, this spinning disc is replicated by a dot (or pair of dots) cycling along a short path. Once again, just pick a starting position and wait for the dot to cycle back to the starting position.

In short, select a kH value and hold the start button for one meter cycle.
