The badge consists of a suit (medal type) and a medicine certificate (ribbon type), and is a symbolic attachment that represents an individual's career and achievements in the organization that wears the uniform.

The fire officer badge has been systematically maintained and operated in accordance with the revision of the 2020 "Fire Officer Insignia Ordinance" and "Regulations on Awarding and Wearing of Fire Officer Insignia".

The Sejong Fire Department has developed a badge management system website and app to confirm the meaning and value of firefighters in the firefighting organization, and to inform information such as proper wearing and awarding of captains, and would like to share them with firefighters across the country.
