Embrace is an application designed by students of Edith Cowan University (ECU), (Joondalup, Western Australia) as part of the 2017 P2P Facebook Global Digital Challenge, supported by the U.S. Department of State, Facebook and EdVenture Partners. Our aim is to counter the pervasiveness of hate and extremism on social media in ways that are credible and authentic to their peers and communities. Our primary driving point at ECU is to include those most vulnerable by promoting the acceptance of inclusion and community, more specifically, through the culinary diversity of culture.

This app is designed to be inclusive to all nationalities in their love for food and provides a challenge to all its users to expand their pallet by trying the culinary delights of other cultures. Created with the goal of completing the 'world map' of culinary diversity, fill the map with foods of nations you've tried and share with friends and encourage them to try something different.
