Aktive Avatars is a digital app solution that supplements an educational practice in group courses for adults with developmental disabilities in shelters and residential facilities. The group courses are centered around specific themes that citizens are interested in, such as pets, gaming or cooking.
The app uses tools and elements from the gaming world: Missions, level system, skills and central; a personal avatar.
Content and form of the solution are defined jointly with participants from the target group during development.
