The subject of the hamza is still one of the most discussed topics in orthography and is subject to study in terms of its writing in the explanation of the hamzat al-wasl and its pronunciation, and its types. The first explanation of the hamzat al-wasl and qat’ comes in the word either being a hamzat wasl or a hamzat aqta’, and each of them has its specific rules for writing and distinguishing it. It is one of the necessary spelling rules in the Arabic language, and distinguishing between these two hamzahs is inevitable, as many people are still ignorant of the way to read and write it, and where to explain the hamzat al-wasl and cut off its use, and spelling errors spread in its writing.
