"Ihkam al-Ahkam fi Sharh Umdat al-Ahkam" by Ibn Daqiq al-Eid, is a book in the hadiths of judgments in which its author explained the book "Umdat al-Ahkam" by Imam Abd al-Ghani al-Maqdisi al-Jamaili al-Hanbali (d. 600 AH), in which he collected the hadiths of rulings in the two Sahihs. He dictated it to his students, and wrote it: Imad al-Din Ibn al-Atheer Ismail Ibn al-Sadr Taj al-Din Ahmad Ibn Sa`id Ibn al-Atheer al-Halabi, known as: the writer. He did not mention an introduction to the book because it is on the spelling method.

The author’s approach in his book, Sharh Umdat al-Ahkam, is that he mentions the noble hadith, then explains the words in it and builds on that jurisprudential ruling, then mentions the opinions of scholars in other schools of thought, and weighs between the sayings he mentions, and it is arranged according to books and jurisprudential chapters.
