The COR-XT® Functional Trainer is a multi-use functional device that is designed to increase the engagement of one’s proprioceptors during a movement and help improve one’s kinesthetic awareness. The unique design of the COR-XT® Functional Trainer enables the user to operate using multi-plane resistance (MPR) to help engage multiple secondary muscles uniquely throughout movement, while the primary muscle group fires to accomplish the movement. Resistance is attached on the COR-XT® Functional Trainer Foundation away from the human point of contact. This creates a feeling of instability, which in turn causes the body to react to the instability, thereby increasing the recruitment of secondary muscles to activate.
