The Shikshapatri is a religious text consisting of 212 Sanskrit verses, written by Shri Swaminarayan Bhagwan on auspacious day of Vasant Panchami; Maha sud 5, Samvat year 1882 (11-02-1826) at Vadtal. It is one of the primary scriptures of the Swaminarayan Sampradaya and provides comprehensive guide and a framework for moral, social, and spiritual integration of society.
