History of Radio Mataquiri FM 104.5 — The Voice of Cametá
In the heart of the Amazon region of Pará, on the banks of the majestic Tocantins River, a dream was born that would give voice to the people of Cametá. It was the beginning of the 1990s when a group of communicators, led by those passionate about local culture, decided it was time to create a station that represented the identity, joy, and strength of the interior of Pará. Thus, Radio Mataquiri FM 104.5 was born, named in homage to the Mataquiri stream, a symbol of the exuberant nature that surrounds the municipality.
