In an Endeavour to help patients with epilepsy , Epilepsy care and Research Foundation, a unit of Triveni Devi Sureka Charitable Trust , is running a free epilepsy camp at Village Ratan Nagar, District Churu since last 22 years every month and about 6000 patients are registered in camp and every time about 750 patients attend the camp from all over India. They are seen by neurologist and given free medicines for full one month every time. This camp is run under guidance of Dr.R.K.Sureka, Neuro physician and Ex Professor of SMS Medical College , Jaipur who is also a state award winner and Limca book record holder 2016 for work in rural epilepsy. This mobile App “Mirgi Samjho “ is being launched by foundation as a part to help the epileptics in diagnosis , treatment and management , removal of myths and wrong believes, guidance for first Aid and Epilepsy and Pregnancy Registry. It also provides material with public education and recent advancements and news in field of epilepsy.
