The Life Path is the most fundamental part of a person's numerological profile. It is derived from the person's date of birth and represents who that individual is and what traits he or she carries throughout life. In other words, the Life Path shows the direction of destiny.

As there are only nine numbers, and therefore nine possible Life Paths, their description is necessarily general and symbolic. The nine Paths are
like nine melodies, and each of us is a unique musical instrument that undertakes to play one of these melodies in his or her own way.

Some Life Paths are relatively effortless and enjoyable, while others can be very challenging. Not all of us decide, or are able, to follow our Life Path.
